We seek a Consultant Psychiatrist leader to join our EIP and TIDES teams. This role spans the Psychosis services available across the Norfolk Region. It consists of 50% of time with the Yarmouth and Waveney locality in Early Intervention Service and 50% of time in the New Pan Norfolk TIDES service.Main duties of the jobThe EIP team provide early intervention services for those experiencing a clear first presentation of psychotic illness. Patients from age 14 years to 65 years old are provided for. This post will provide medical input for those aged 18 to 69 (a local CAMHS Consultant provides cover for those aged 14-18 years).TIDES ServiceThis is a new and exciting NHS England Mandated service based in Norwich but offers a service across the whole of Norfolk to support At Risk Mental State patients aged between 14-35 .This service consists of psychologist, CBT therapists, family workers and nurses who together provide NICE concordant treatment.The post holder must be registered with the GMC. The post holder must also have an entry on the GMC Specialist Register (CCST) in Adult Psychiatry (or within three months of completion of CCST).
