Job Description:Can you help scientists and students scale AI computation?Data and computational resources are crucial to the success of the Pioneer Centre for AI. As coordinator you will work closely with centre scientists on AI projects and thereby have significant impact on the centre’s research. With the new national AI data centre Gefion being established by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, the possible impact is further amplified.You can be our new colleague at the Pioneer Centre for AI if you are an ambitious coordinator with experience in machine learning operations (MLOps). You should find it rewarding to assist scientists in high performance computing (HPC) and data access for AI systems.The position is located at DTU Compute, Kongens Lyngby. The primary areas of responsibility will be to:

  • assist Pioneer Centre scientists with HPC for machine learning
  • manage data for research projects
  • create and maintain workflows
  • share knowledge with national and international collaborators, e.g. HPC centers

Experience with machine learning frameworks on GPU clusters and cloud
You are a highly motivated and dedicated team player with a Master’s degree within e.g. physics, computer science or engineering. You have experience in GPU computing for machine learning and you have a keen interest in sharing your knowledge.What we offer in return

Funded by a DKK 352,4 million (€47 million) grant from the foundations: Novo Nordisk, The Danish National Research Foundation, VILLUM, Lundbeck and Carlsberg, the aims to stand at the international forefront and develop platforms, methods, and practices for a human centric AI through groundbreaking fundamental AI research pursued within an interdisciplinary framework. The centre is organized into seven collaboratories structured around an AI research theme with 2-3 PIs as well as affiliated PhD students and postdocs. The centre is headed by Director, Professor Serge Belongie, Dept. Computer Science, University of Copenhagen, assisted by co-leads from University of Copenhagen, Technical University of Denmark, the IT University, Aalborg University, and Aarhus University.DTU Compute
