About the Compliance Officer role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Compliance Monitoring team for someone who is looking to further develop their career in Compliance.
Compliance Officer Business Accountabilities include:
-Conduct regular departmental and thematic compliance monitoring reviews across business areas to ensure that processes are being undertaken in accordance with the relevant regulations and company policies
-Review, develop and enhance compliance procedures to reflect current regulations
-Support the planning and compliance processes by participating in stakeholder meetings
-Assist in the reporting of findings arising from the completion of the compliance monitoring programme to relevant stakeholders
-Assist in the preparation of forum and committee papers
-Support the identification of key risks and related controls
-Prepare forum minutes
-Conduct compliance engagements in a manner that will enhance the compliance experience
-Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders
-Participate in the handling of day-to-day compliance queries
Qualifications and Experience
-A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a second line function is required
-Completed or willing to complete the Professional Diploma in Compliance – LCI, (Licentiate of the Compliance Institute)
-Third level qualification in a business/legal related area is required
