We are looking for a passionate Compliance and Privacy Advisor at our location Arnhem who will contribute to this and that might be you?Your contribution to TenneTAs Privacy Officer, you will:

  • Support the privacy champions in various departments with keeping their processing activities complete and up to date, critically reviewing and advising on matters such as legal ground, data minimization, access management and retention periods;
  • Onboard new suppliers that process personal data on TenneT’s behalf and review the existing ones, ensuring that the correct privacy and (security) measures are agreed upon and upheld;
  • Provide support in projects and tenders where new processes or systems are introduced that will process personal data, and which must be set up within appropriate privacy frameworks;
  • Support units in conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs);

As Compliance & Integrity Advisor, you will:

  • Contribute to the further development of the CMS and its conceptional improvement;
  • Provide advice to all employees on compliance & integrity matters;
  • Give guidance in the context of TenneT’s internal and external stakeholders;
  • Prepare, create content for and deliver Compliance trainings, workshops and feedback sessions with employees and (senior) leaders.

Your profile and backgroundAs a Compliance and Privacy Advisor you will:

  • Have an academic background (HBO or WO), master degree or a comparable university education in a relevant field of study, e.g. law, business administration, IT, etc.;
  • Gained a minimum of 3 years of high-quality experience as a privacy and/or compliance professional in a related or relevant industry;
  • Understand and have good knowledge of corporate privacy and/or compliance topics and best practices; preferably hold CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT or similar certification;
  • Maintain a high degree of (personal) integrity to be considered a trusted partner on privacy, as well as compliance and integrity matters;
  • Communicate strongly – both oral and written;
  • Be approachable, proactive, independent, confident yet collaborative – so: be a real asset to the team!

We proactively support the TenneT organization in continuously strengthening audit, risk and compliance identification and mitigation.Additional information

  • The weekly working time is between 32-40 hours
  • Type of contract is indefinite
  • We offer a competitive salary between € 4369 – € 8594 of job grade 9 (CAO TSO)
