If so Teaching Personnel have a role that may interest you!We are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant/Behaviour mentor to work both 1:1 and in a small group setting with students with behavioural SEN needs. You will work closely with experienced educators and specialists to support the social, emotional, and academic development of these students.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural challenges.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions as directed by senior staff.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the emotional well-being of students.
- Assist in planning and delivering tailored lessons and activities to meet individual needs.
- Monitor and track student progress, reporting any concerns to the relevant staff members.
- Promote a culture of respect, tolerance, and empathy within the school community.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with behavioural difficulties or SEN (Special Educational Needs) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient and compassionate approach to working with students.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
