This is an exciting opportunity to shape the development of a new function within the CEO Communications and Strategic Messaging department at Siemens. We’re building a diverse team of experts that will play a key role in shaping the perception of Siemens and creating impact for the company.

What part will you play?

  • Build awareness and understanding of the company narrative and the latest strategic messaging by engaging and collaborating with key partners within Siemens

  • Develope inventive ways to bring the narrative and messaging to life for our partners, through creative assets, innovative formats and finding stories

  • Guide and support internal customers (i.e., planning, branding, thought leadership, employee engagement, businesses) on company’s positioning and messaging for strategic topics.

  • You are responsible for the global rollout and communications cascade of the messaging and narrative, as well as ensuring that the latest resources are up-to-date and easy to find (PowerPoint decks, knowledge hub etc.)

  • Further, you take on the responsibility to evaluate and measure the impact of messaging through performance metrics and indicators

What you need to make real what matters.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field and gained already many years of experience in Marketing Communications within a global technology company in the B2B space or PR agencies

  • Experienced in planning and driving communications projects involving multiple internal and external partners

  • Excellent understanding of business strategy and transformation, with knowledge of technology and macroeconomic trends to ensure that our messaging is relevant and outward-looking

  • Expertise in tailoring communications for different channels and in visual communications with strong influencing skills and experience working in complex, matrix organizations

  • Creative person with a growth mindset and a passion to find new ways to improve things

  • Self-starter able to lead multiple projects simultaneously and comfortable working in a VUCA environment

  • Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills with business fluency in English, your German skills and other languages are an advantage
