The position

You will work on both our internal and external communication (50% of your time) to strengthen our corporate brand in Belgium and Luxembourg. You will also be responsible of implementing our sustainable projects in line with our strategy (50% of your time). In more details, you will :

-Proactively identify any potential business threats and opportunities related to our company and develop corresponding action and communication plans
 

-Be responsible of our internal and external communication strategy. It involves to build and maintain relationships with media, relevant stakeholders and enhance our corporate reputation
 

-Lead the implementation of sustainability projects from the global portfolio such as the recycling of our insulin pens, City Changing Diabetes, Childhood Obesity or Circular 4 Zero
 

-Support Public Affairs and Disease Area teams in their disease awareness communication strategy
 

-Act as media spokespersons
 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role :

-You have a Master degree, preferably in management, social sciences, economics, journalism or media or equivalent through experience
 

-You have a previous solid experience in in the area of public relations, media, corporate communication or journalism.
You are able to analyse complex issues, provide strategic thinking and implement tactical plans. To have existing media contacts and relationships are a plus
 

-You are very interested in Sustainability. Ideally, you have knowledge gained by a sustainability position with managerial level experience and an ability to work within a cross functional team
 

-You are a team player, have excellent communication skills and have a think out of the box mentality
 

-You are fluent in Dutch, French & English (oral and written)
 

About our Department

You will report to our Market Access & Public Affairs Director. You will have interactions with both internal (General Manager, Medical, Sales, Marketing, Legal & Compliance Departments, stakeholders at the Global level)  and external stakeholders (media, vendors, associations).
