An established and well-regarded regional law firm in the West Midlands is looking to appoint a Commercial Property Solicitor to join its growing property team. This role represents a key strategic hire for the firm, offering an excellent opportunity for an ambitious solicitor who is keen to play an active role in shaping and developing a department.

In this role, you will manage a varied caseload of commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant matters, lease negotiations, and general portfolio management. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced Consultant on existing matters where appropriate, gaining valuable exposure while building your own client base.

Beyond day-to-day case management, the firm is keen to bring in someone who is enthusiastic about business development and networking, and who enjoys building relationships with clients and referrers. You will play an important part in expanding the firm’s commercial property presence, contributing to marketing initiatives and helping to strengthen the department’s long-term strategy.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with 1-2 years’ PQE in Commercial Property, who is confident managing files independently and is commercially minded in their approach. Strong communication skills, the ability to build lasting client relationships, and a genuine interest in helping to grow a department will be key to success in this role.
