Commercial Manager Benelux

For our Molecular Division, we are recruiting a Commercial Manager Benelux. The Commercial Manager is responsible for maximizing sales and profitability in the Benelux including new customers and existing customers. Managing a team of 2 Account Managers, you drive profitable growth and solutions within the territory by managing customer relationship, life cycle and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full revenue and profitability responsibility including forecasting and target performance achievement.

  • Full operational and functional responsibility for the team

  • Responsible to execute business development plan and sales plan to achieve revenue target higher profitability, higher win-rates, and higher share of wallet for new and existing customers.

  • Assist Account Manager with contract negotiations, particularly with pricing/profitability policies.

  • Drive New business acquisition primarily through respective field activities.

  • Call on senior levels, manage multiple decision makers, create, and establish relationships to KOL’s.

  • Establishes value propositions and build business cases.

  • Post‐sale involvement with customers.

  • Ensure continuous improvement of KPIs including Sales, Service, and Operational Excellence.

  • Developing strategies and ensure their execution to ensure KPI targets are achieved.

  • Assess, identify, and prioritize potential market growth opportunities

  • Anticipate market trends and environmental forces and implement the necessary changes to meet distributor and customer needs.

  • Responsible for contract compliance (volume, pricing, utilization, efficiency)

  • Create a culture of innovation, calculated risk, and high accountability.

What experience do you bring?

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree educated in business, marketing, technical or scientific discipline or similar.

  • Proven experience in a sales role with people management responsibilities

  • Previous experience in the Diagnostics industry is an asset but experience in the healthcare sector can also be considered

  • Excellent organizational and negotiation skills

  • Strong understanding of key stakeholders and customer dynamics

  • Strong solution selling and relationship building skills.

  • Strong experience maintaining and developing customer relationships.

  • French, Dutch and English

  • Flexible to travel on a regular basis in the Benelux (this is primarily a field-based role)
