The new colleague will be responsible for all marketing and sales-related activities, outcomes, and strategy. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional rare disease team members, especially the medical counterpart, and leveraging collaboration with other Ipsen teams when applicable. The ideal candidate will ensure a high level of HCP disease awareness and optimal access and adoption for our rare disease brands, applying a patient-centric approach from strategy to execution to ensure we leave no patient behind. Manager : Business Unit Head Neuroscience & Rare Disease BeLux
Location: Ipsen Belgium office with up to 50% travelling in Belgium & LuxembourgSummary / purpose of the position
Responsible for all marketing and sales related activities and outcomes as well as the strategy for the Rare Liver Disease portfolio by working closely together with other cross-functional rare disease team members. This especially includes the medical counterpart, while also collaborating with other Ipsen teams, when applicable. Ensure a high level of HCP disease awareness for in scope rare diseases, as well as optimal access and adoption for our rare disease brands. – Define and execute the local product strategy & plan, ensuring cross-functional excellence so that eligible patients will receive the treatment they deserve in a timely fashion
– Design the local strategic plan, budget, forecasts, and operational plans for the rare disease brands in line with corporate strategy
– Pro-actively propose KPIs and resource allocation across products, market segments and marketing mix to optimize ROI
– Combine local market insights with affiliate and global ambition
– Evaluate marketing research plans continuously to ensure they are informing strategy and monitoring performance
– Monitor brand performance, ROI, CI and market /product knowledge and propose corrective actions when needed
– Ensure effective cross-functional interactions and feedback mechanisms within the Local Brand Teams
– Lead cross functional Brand Team to monitor execution excellence and maintain effective level of collaboration
– Work closely with vendors to conceptualize, develop, and execute all patient education and promotional materials and programs
– Understand the market and landscape and gather insights on competitionHCP engagement
– Build strong relationships with all relevant customers, including KOLs and Scientific societies, and interact with them on a regular basis
– Deliver on customer engagement plan, as defined and discussed with line manager.
– Undertake accurately and timely reporting activities including detailing call records, sales analysis, customer, promotion and competitor feedback and regulatory requirements
– Identify and bring to completion valuable projects, through internal and external partnerships and territory management
– Adapt selling style & approach to match the sales environment, such as an account management approach in hospital departments/centers, or a transactional sales approach with respect to sole decision-makers
– Identify and manage referral pathways from periphery hospitals to expert centers when needed, to ensure timely treatment of patientsDemonstrate high level of scientific and clinical knowledge
– Provide in-field clinical training and on-going clinical education with physicians, key clinical personnel as well as internal and external employees and facilitate on-site training and subject matter clinical expertise to optimize patient safety and outcomes
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to multi-task and overcome challenges in order to successfully
– Ability to assimilate and communicate complex clinical data
– Demonstrate excellent product, customer and market knowledge.
– High level of understanding of clinical data, guidelines and clinical practices
