Commercial Director | Luxury Resort | Zadar, Croatia | A‚¬4,800 Net per Month

I’m recruiting a Commercial Director for a flagship luxury resort on the Croatian coast. This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of the commercial strategy across a large, multi-outlet resort environment, covering revenue, sales, marketing alignment, distribution, and overall performance.

This position sits on the resort leadership team and works closely with both on-property management and group-level commercial functions, with a clear mandate to drive revenue growth, sharpen market positioning, and deliver long-term profitability.

Your Experience

* Extensive senior commercial leadership experience within luxury hotels or premium resorts
* Proven background in 5-star or lifestyle hospitality environments
* Strong international market exposure across leisure, luxury, and MICE segments
* Experience working within a branded or group hotel structure
* Commercially sharp, performance-driven, and comfortable leading complex operations
* Fluent English essential; German and/or Croatian highly advantageous

Your Responsibilities

* Own and deliver the full commercial strategy for the resort
* Lead revenue management, pricing, forecasting, and budgeting across all departments
* Drive performance across rooms, F&B, events, wellness, and ancillary revenue streams
* Oversee sales strategy, distribution, and market mix across international feeder markets
* Work closely with marketing teams to align campaigns with commercial priorities
* Strengthen direct booking performance and optimise channel mix
* Act as a key commercial partner to the Resort General Manager and Group leadership
* Lead, develop, and inspire the on-site commercial team
