JOB- CMM Programmer
LOCATION- Oxfordshire
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £40,000-£47,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are looking for a CMM Programmer on a permanent basis in the Oxfordshire area. Experience in the Aerospace and Automotive sector is an advantage as well as working with Mechanical components.

The CMM Programmer will ideally have the following attributes:

– Working within a Quality Inspection department for at least 2 years
– Ability to read & interpret technical drawings
– Practical & methodical – ‘right first time’ methodology
– Problem solver/solution provider ensuring quality is everyone’s responsibility within the company
– CMM programming experience (PC-DMIS)
– Hands-on/Dexterous capabilities
– Good general IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Access
– Great time management skills
– Ability to work with own initiative under minimal supervision

  
The CMM Programmer role will involve:
 

– Inspection of mechanical components to Engineering drawings accurately and confidently
– Writing programmes for the CMM
– The use of manual methods of inspection (micrometers, slip gauges, plug gauges etc)
– Liaise cross functionally between departments
– Ensure equipment remains within it’s calibration period and does not expire
– Make a positive contribution to maintain H&S and the workplace remaining tidy to a high standard
– Carry out any other additional duties within reasonable capability as required by Supervisor
