Cloudera Solution Architect

Job Description:

DXC Technology is looking for Cloudera Solution Architect to join Analytics Offering.

DXC Analytics is focused on providing customers innovative solutions and high added value, in the following areas: Analytics Solutions and Services, Big Data Platforms, Information Governance, Business Intelligence & Data Management, Artificial Intelligence and IoT Analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end Cloudera architectures, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with clients and presales teams to define technical solutions aligned with business needs.
• Lead architecture design and migration projects, supporting transitions from legacy to Cloudera-based platforms.
• Provide expert advisory on optimization, data governance, and security best practices, contributing to solution blueprints and documentation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop, Hive, HDFS, Impala, Spark, Kafka, NiFi, etc.).
• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical architectures.
• Experience in sizing and capacity planning for Cloudera or similar platforms.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally with sales, delivery, and customer teams.
• Fluent problem-solving and communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

• Cloudera certification(s) such as CCAH, CCP Data Engineer, or CDP Certified Professional.
• Experience with cloud integration (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid architectures.
