This ACE will work with the ISV Labs, the Oracle sales team and our ISVs in the Dach region market.You will bring your own value and sometimes lead different teams, to support our customers in their transformation journey to Oracle cloud by creating a unique experience and impact customer success. Career Level – IC4Responsibilities:As an Account Cloud Engineer, you will have full accountability and responsibility to orchestrate technical resources to define, drive and implement long-term strategies for our ISVs in EMEA.We are looking for the confidence, coming out of practical experience and an exceptional technical background, to create value and bring new perspectives for technical decision factors (heads of technology, architects and key players in the technical teams).

• Customer aligned, the ACE role is responsible for customer lifecycle from project concept to usage and expansion within the customer.
• Drives alignment with the Cloud Sales Rep, working as a team within the customer to define/drive sales strategy, find and win new workloads, technical due diligence to achieve the “Technical Win”
• Maintains an awareness of the customer’s infrastructure and is technically competent. Supports and advises on new workloads that will add value for customers.
• Orchestrates the technical resources required to ensure our technology is driving customer business outcome and sustainable usage and growth
• Solve complex problems and bring-in the right resources xLOBs, for an optimal result; encourage all contributors to be at their best and develop on each-other ideas
• Builds a Cloud consumption plan for and with the customer
• Be willing to take over the responsibility for the ultimate success of the implementation projects that you are designing
• Be viral together with your customer in the communities which can contribute to your customer growth

Roles & Responsibilities

• The ACE will orchestrate all technical activity in the account and is always in the leading position for presales activities.
• Actively involved in the Oracle account team in defining account strategy and driving the cloud consumption growth.
• Is accountable for the successful experience of customer(s) in their territory.
• Understands customers overall portfolio, IT and business priorities and establishes a solution that addresses customer needs.
• Drive effectiveness and impact in the way we engage with customers, become customer Trusted Advisor.
• Informs customers/prospects on Oracle emerging technologies and how they will create value and competitive differentiation
• Presents Oracle’s technology demonstrating deep familiarity with infrastructure, security and integration capabilities.
• Acts as customer single point of contact for cloud engineering
• Engage the Oracle Cloud technology team, lead virtual teams to support in creating solution design, architecture, POCs, tailored technical workshops, etc.
• Leads activities and teams to help position the value of Oracle’s Cloud and continually meet customer expectations.
• Delight customers by offering unique experience
• Guarantee the success – scope projects and success criteria, be responsible for implementation success of what you are designing; regular validate of value creation with customer

Skills & ProfileTo be succesfull in this role, is anticipated that you will have:

• At least 5 years in chief architect role or ACE Like role in software engineering / Data Science
• Experience in software development lifecycle, enterprise architecture and Cloud native services
• Experience in multi-cloud deployments
• Very good understanding of current technologies around the data fabric of companies (AI, Data Science, Machine Learning etc).
• Entrepreneurial mindset to link technology to the business
• To be creative, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
• To be a team player, self-motivated to create value by connecting the right resources
• Solid written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Fluent German and English skills on C2 level

In order to increase the role impact, following skills would be considered an advantage:

• Experience that demonstrates strategic thinking, influencing power (maximizer, significance, activator), with a high ability to execute.
• Proven track record in leading C-Level engagements
• Experience working in fast paced Coud Native companies, ideally in Finance and/or B2B industry
• Cloud Technologies certifications
