What you´ll do:
You will join an agile team tasked with the mission to provide landscape lifecycle management to all microservices of SAP HANA Cloud. We offer this service via a Python tool orchestrating not only the creation and update of Kubernetes clusters, but also offering a configuration framework to microservices so that they run efficiently in our more than 150 Kubernetes clusters on all major hyperscalers. Contribute to the team mission by designing and developing of new features as well as incident resolution if something unforeseen happens. Issues with our service only happen once. We strive to understand malfunctions and their root causes, so that we can improve our landscape lifecycle management service to scale better and reduce manual efforts every day.
What you bring:
• Experience in one or more programming languages, preferably Python or Golang
• Strong interest in cloud-native software development and operations
• Ideally already exposure to Kubernetes and surrounding deployment technologies (such as Helm and Kustomize)
• Ideally already exposure to running cloud services on top of public cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Very good language skills in English
• 3+ years experience

We make sure that microservice changes reach all production landscapes in the same automated way, use same security and observability standards and have same means to utilize quarterly maintenance windows to fullfill our customers‘ availability expectations of 99.9999%. SAP employs a hybrid working model and allows up to two days mobile working per week.
