Cloud Engineer – AWSWork Location: Location: Ballerup, Greater CopenhagenOpen for contract and Permanent.Important: Please note – there is work from home option but this is not a remote opportunity and we will prefer local candidates only.The jobYou will be an important part of enabling the business to work smarter and more efficient by intelligent use of cloud as a platform for PaaS and IaaS workloads. You will work closely with Cloud Architects, Service Delivery Manager, Product Owners and other relevant stakeholder to execute on the digital initiatives in the business strategy. To succeed, you must understand cloud best practices around architecture, security, compliance, monitoring, networking and governance. Your primary tasks will be to:§ Implement and maintain the LEO Pharma’s Cloud foundation§ Collaborate with fellow engineers to constantly improve the LEO Cloud Foundation in alignment with the architect team for Cloud§ Development, deployment and debugging of cloud-based applications§ Write shell code/scripts, Powershell scripts etc.§ Conduct cloud infrastructure performance analysis§ Perform bugfixes, maintenance, and upgrades of existing systems using solutions in accordance with standard operating procedures§ Assist in research, selection, and implementation of relevant new software platforms hosted on the LEO Cloud Foundation§ Create, maintain and improve technical operational work instructions

§ Provide work guidance to less experienced personnelYou furthermore have a passion for doing things the right way.Your qualificationsYou have substantial experience from working with cloud-based solutions, infrastructure services and cloud-based solutions. You must thrive in a role with major responsibility where you are a proactive driver. This calls for overview and the ability to clearly communicate why, what, how, who and when – in a way that makes sense to people without your own expertise.Professional Qualifications:§ An IT related education at minimum BSc level§ 3-5 years’ experience from working with cloud solutions in complex corporations§ Solid experience with DevOps and relevant tools§ Good skills in programming, scripting and automation§ End-to-end understanding of cloud infrastructures and services§ Knowledge in designing and building environments using AWS services.§ Relevant AWS Training and potentially Certifications§ Strong communication skills with an ownership acumen – you are a team player§ A forward-thinking mindset§ Thrives in a fun, changing and fast-paced environment.
