Salary: £49,181 – £54,645 per annumWe are seeking a Clinical Research Nurse/Clinical Trial Practitioner to join our esteemed research facility in London. Situated within a renowned Institute, we are at the forefront of pioneering clinical trials, focusing on the advancement of therapies, particularly targeted and precision medications for cancer patients.As a Clinical Research Nurse/Clinical Trial Practitioner, your role will involve the meticulous planning, implementation, and evaluation of specialised research care for patients participating in our clinical trial programmes. You will work closely with patients, ensuring their well-being and adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards, alongside collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to safeguard patient safety.Key responsibilities include facilitating patient recruitment, coordinating high-quality early-phase clinical studies, and acting as a key point of contact for patients throughout their journey. Additionally, you will oversee and monitor the effects of treatments administered during trials, both expected and unexpected.What You’ll Bring:

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) if applying as a Registered Nurse.
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a Registered Nurse or Clinical Trial Practitioner, with a focus on research and trials coordination, particularly in early-phase trials.
  • Previous experience in oncology trials is essential.
  • Competency in chemotherapy administration (SACT Passport) if applying as a Registered Nurse.
  • Proficiency in patient assessment and phlebotomy.
