Our client, an innovative medical software start-up at the forefront of surgical technology, offers a unique opportunity for an experienced Clinical Affairs Specialist to own the full clinical strategy and execution. As the Process Owner for clinical evaluation and investigation, you will be involved in the full clinical lifecycle, which will give you a lot of variety and ownership.

Role Responsibilities

* Lead clinical evaluations and investigations, defining endpoints and sample sizes, writing protocols, managing EC/IRB submissions, and ensuring full compliance with GCP, ISO 14155, ISO 18969 and EU MDR.
* Plan, execute and analyse clinical studies in surgical environments, including site management, data and image analysis, statistical evaluations, and study reports.
* Build and refine clinical processes within a fast-moving start-up environment.

Requirements

* University degree in law, medicine, pharmacy, biomedical sciences/engineering, or another relevant scientific discipline.
* Several years experience in Clinical Research for the medical device industry
* Hands-on experience in clinical experiments/investigations
* Knowledge of ISO 14155 and GCP-compliant protocols
* Fluent level of English, Dutch is an advantage
