Clean Utility Professional
Are you curious about how critical utilities enable pharmaceutical production every single day? Do you have a strong quality mindset and enjoy solving complex challenges in a GMP-regulated environment? If you are looking for a role where you can combine knowledge of GMP processes with technical expertise, collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, and gain valuable insight into the heart of pharmaceutical manufacturing, then you could be our new Clean Utility Supporter in Gentofte.
Your new role
As a Clean Utility Supporter, you will join Utility GMP & Validation Support, where your primary responsibility will be ensuring the release of critical clean utilities such as Water for Injection (WFI) and Clean Steam used across the Gentofte site. You will work at the intersection of quality, compliance, microbiology, and technical operations while supporting some of Novo Nordisk’s most important production activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
type=”disc”-
-Releasing WFI and Clean Steam and ensuring compliance with GMP requirements.
-Monitoring trends, analysing data, handling deviations, change requests, and preparing reports.
-Updating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other GMP documentation to ensure continued compliance.
-Supporting utility-related projects such as WFI loop expansions, facility upgrades, and implementation of new solutions.
-Collaborating closely with stakeholders across production, laboratories, QA, technical support functions, and utility teams. Some of your most important stakeholders will be colleagues on our filling lines.
As a person, you have strong analytical skills, are structured and proactive in your work and will never compromise on quality. You appreciate the value of accurate and timely documentation as the essential safety and quality control parameter it is. Success in this role means becoming a trusted colleague in the utility release process, confidently managing GMP documentation, deviations, and stakeholder interactions while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Your new department
You will join Production Support, a technical department of approximately 100 employees responsible for delivering and supporting critical utilities across Site Gentofte. The department supplies Water for Injection, Clean Steam, compressed air, gases, cooling, ventilation, metrology services, and technical support for both projects and operations.
You will become part of Utility GMP & Validation Support, a team of 10 dedicated colleagues with diverse educational backgrounds and deep expertise in GMP, validation, utilities, and quality processes. Several team members have extensive tenure and experience, creating a highly supportive environment where knowledge sharing and collaboration are a natural part of everyday work.
What makes this role particularly attractive is the breadth of exposure it offers. You will gain insight into many different areas of pharmaceutical manufacturing, develop a unique combination of quality and technical knowledge, and establish a strong professional network across the organisation. At the same time, you will join a robust team with the time and commitment to support your learning and development.
Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, curious by nature, and motivated to grow within a highly regulated production environment.
To succeed in this role, you:
type=”disc”-
-Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Pharmacy, Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline.
-Have an interest in GMP-regulated manufacturing, quality processes, and technical systems.
-Demonstrate strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.
-Possess a proactive mindset, strong collaboration skills, and a “can-do” attitude.
-Speak and write English fluently.
Experience from the pharmaceutical, biotech, food, or another regulated industry is an advantage, but not a requirement. We welcome both newly graduated candidates and professionals with some experience. Most importantly, you are quality-conscious, curious, and motivated to learn. We will provide the training and support needed to develop your expertise in release processes, deviations, change control, and utility systems.
