Job description

Kenect Recruitment are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 2 Hiab 26t driver to for one of our clients a well known Roofing Company based in Swindon. Our client has several weekly contracts from May onwards with more dates to be confirmed.

As a Class 2 Hiab 26t driver, you will be responsible for operating a commercial vehicle equipped with a flatbed and Hiab crane for delivery purposes. This is a PAYE paid position.

Responsibilities:
– Safely operate a Class 2 Hiab 26t vehicle to transport and deliver goods
– Load and unload materials using the Hiab crane
– Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with customer requirements
– Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
– Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries.
– Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries

Skills:
– Valid Class 2 driver’s license with no more than 6 points for SP offences.

– Proven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with experience operating a Hiab crane
– Strong knowledge of road safety regulations
– Excellent communication and customer service skills
– Ability to navigate using GPS or maps
– Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads
– Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Pay GBP20p/h (Overtime after 8 hrs at GBP30p/h)

Mon – Fri 07.30 – 16.30 (May vary slightly)
