Children’s and Youth Ministry Lead

We are seeking a leader to encourage, empower and oversee our children’s and youth ministry and its volunteers. They will be a bridge across all of our regular groups, with a flexible attitude and a team player. The role will balance leading in person with supporting others. They will be part of our ministry team at ABC,  joining a medium-sized evangelical church, that is intergenerational and in the heart of the market town of Ampthill. 

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person who can shape or develop the role, depending on their skills/experience and encouraging volunteers in their areas of expertise. The successful candidate will be a practising Christian, with good Biblical knowledge and a heart for children and young people.

This is a full-time permanent post, which is based at Ampthill Baptist Church over 5 days a week, including Sundays. The salary is £28,000 – £30,000 dependent upon experience. If you would like to know more, please contact our Operations Manager, Sarah Duffy at [email protected]
