The Role

Experienced Chief Financial Officer required for an International Property company with a base in the thriving jurisdiction of Gibraltar. The successful applicant will be the leader of all the financial management and reporting pack, financial risk, tax and operational functions. The Chief Financial Officer will report to the CEO and the Board.

What You Will Be Doing

Responsible for all accounting, investments, tax, cash flow and overall finance oversight
*

Oversee budget, tax, risk functions and ensures that financial policies and procedures meet objectives and regulatory requirements.
*

Responsible for financial policy and planning.
*

Oversee all financial transactions and special ad hoc projects.
*

Assess and evaluates the financial performance of the organization with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets and forecasts.
*

Develop performance measures and monitoring systems that supports the company’s strategic direction.
*

Identify, develop, and execute analysis of business initiatives, product and launches and/or new service offerings.
*

Supervise and hire as necessary a team that will help manage all day-to-day accounting and financial administration needs for the group.
*

Liaise and coordinate with external providers as necessary to support the finance and operational role.
*

Participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational models.
*

Implement policies, procedures and processes as deemed appropriate by the executive and senior management teams.
*

Oversee Information Technology functions, design and implement IT management tools;
*

Rethink and reshape the entire portfolio’s processes and systems.
*

Upgrade the current technology financial and operational platforms onto leading solutions so as to best streamline, digitize and optimize asset management
*

Utilize forward looking models and activity-based analyses to provide financial insight into the organization’s plans and operating budgets.
*

Hire additional accounting, finance and administration support to implement the vision and mission

What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role

Qualified ACA, ACCA or similar
*

A high level financial knowledge of the property/construction industry
*

Excellent communication skills
*

Financial analytics expertise, advanced Excel skills
