Centre Manager

The Othona Community strives to live out the values and teachings of Jesus by establishing residential communities which welcome people of all faiths & none to share this journey through a programme of events, retreats and group bookings.

We are seeking a full-time Centre Manager to live and work on site at our centre near Bradwell-on-Sea. This role is more akin to a way of life than just a job and you will bring enthusiasm, self-motivation and your own individual flair.

You will provide leadership amongst the small resident community to build and motivate an effective team facilitating the founder’s daily routine of “work, worship, study and play”. You will manage the day-to-day operations of the centre, including supervision and recruitment of staff and volunteers, financial management and the maintenance and servicing of the buildings and grounds. Your people skills will enable you to relate easily with guests of all ages, backgrounds and circumstances.
