This certification allows us to challenge ourselves in order to continuously improve and measure our social and environmental performance.We are looking for a Global Plant Based Strategy Manager to join our Global Plant-Based Strategy & advocacy team. This CDI will take place in Paris (75) in our Global Headquarters and reports to the global Plant-based yogurts & adjacencies Director, with dotted line reporting to the global PB Beverages director.As plant-based category, playing a key role in this journey for Danone and for our consumers and customers, we are committed to bring health and nutrition through plant-powered goodness. Our objective to support and enable the medium and long-term sustainable growth of our Plant-Based business.As a Global Plant Based Strategy Manager, you will contribute to the global strategic roadmap of PB Beverages and plant-based yogurts and adjacencies, through in-depth strategic analysis of plant-based market and landscape, recommendation on where to play and how to win, and support to strategy implementation.Your main responsibilities will be to :

  • Strategic vision / End-to-end Roadmap (incl advocacy) for Plant-based:
  • Contribute to the identification of PB ‘where to play’: growth spaces for PB Beverages, yogurts and adjacencies, geographies
  • Contribute to the ‘how to win roadmap’through in depth analysis of category growth drivers and barriers, recommendation of jobs to be done ; and identification of demand generation models including influencers/ Key opnion leaders to influence the development of the category
  • Support to category strategy peers, global functions and zones in its implementation:
  • Support the organization in PB strategy implementation through adhoc toolkits (ex: Annual budget preparation, Strategic risk mapping, …)
  • Animation of internal stakeholders’ community to bring the strategic roadmap into life (ex: closely work with general secretary teams on advocacy roadmap)

You would mainly interact with :

  • internal : Plant Based global category peers, global functions (Strategy & Insights, Finance, General secretary, Commercial excellence, Operations, etc), Company and Zones strategy teams, Zone plant based teams, and countries we operate in.
  • external : agencies/consulting services, expert interview networks

The criteria below remain indicative. A candidate who has a different combination of experience and skills could also be considered.

  • With an Master’s degree in a related field, you must have over 8+years of experience in category strategy or brand/Product Marketing, ideally withing the food or FMCG industry. An experience in a leading consulting firm would be a strong plus;
  • Passion for Food, Beverage and Sustainability topics, along with strong brand strategy skills.
  • With a analytical mindset, you are known for your problem solving abilities and connecting the dots
  • An interest and trained eye for financial modeling and business casing
  • You have shown facilitation skills in challenging cross functionnal organization
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
  • Complete fluency in English will be essential to communicate with the rest of the team!
