About The Role:

Education Catering is Hampshire County Council’s in house catering service. We are looking for a competent, outgoing person to work in our Calshot Residential Centre.

As a Catering Assistant working in the busy kitchen at Calshot Activity Centre, you’ll need to be able to work at a fast pace and as part of a team. Duties will include preparing/cooking food together with other general kitchen tasks which include cleaning duties.

It is a rewarding job, and we’ll give you all the training you need to succeed. Experience of working in a catering environment is needed as you will occasionally cover for the Unit Manager when absent.

This is a term time working position and the role is based on a 2 week shift pattern covering any shift from 7am to 7pm Monday to Sunday. This will include one weekend a month where you will receive an enhanced rate of pay for Sundays. You may also be required to work on bank holidays.
