You ensure that customer plans are developed and executed by supporting the delivery of strategies and tactics for growth. You understand the business metrics and financial drivers needed to unlock profitable growth for Mondelēz International and our customers and work with key account managers to implement plans to deliver our annual target.
How you will contribute
You will:
Lead the Customer Planning & Activation function in the Long (Vision ‘30/SP) and in the short term (annual AC planning and delivery), being part of the AT country Management Table
Understand categories dynamics / shoppers’ insights by channel to propose growth strategies/activities
Lead the business planning meetings IBP
Support iPPA thinking/planning to maximize profitable growth across channels & Customers
Lead ‘Perfect Store’ via defining and implementing ‘Picture of Success’ for priority Brands/Segments (Milka Tablets/Seasonals/Pralines/Bakery, Oreo, Toblerone Core/Pralines) for Shelf and Secondary touch-points; you will be accountable to set systems and KPI’s to track performance/execution
Support Field Force to maximize growth opportunity consistently with V30/AC plans and priorities
Lead the Activation plan to co-define and execute bold shopper’s promo activation platforms (Xmas choco house, back to school, Easter …) that engage customers and deliver high ROI promotions.

What you need to know about this position:
Category Planning and Activation Manager is a leadership role, responsible to deliver the CP&A tasks, enabling the overall business delivery of the country; as well as building, managing and developing the CP&A team and achieving the successful cross-functional stakeholder management in the market.
The role of the CP&A organization that CP&A lead is accountable for are:
Define channel strategies, planning and in store execution guidelines (perfect store and revenue delivery) for the market/channels/customers
Own execution and governance of AC delivery and risks & opportunities
Build customer growth stories and selling stories for joint business plans and customer partnerships
Govern execution of guidelines and programs in the market including but not limited to perfect store and RGM
What extra ingredients you will bring:
Leadership experience: large teams management, managing of people managers, market LT is a plus
Leadership skills: Managing diversity, Team building & strong people leadership, Learning Agility, Leading the Future, Strong stakeholder management
Functional skills & experiences: Strong commercial acumen, Analytical skills,Revenue Planning/ RGM, Consumer, Shopper and Customer understanding, Category Development, Perfect Store, understanding on sales planning
Education / Certifications:
10+ years of experience; KA experience would be preferred.
Bachelors Degree in a related field, MBA is a plus
The salary is graded in the Collective Labor Agreement “KV für Angestellte und Lehrlinge im Handel”. If you meet the mentioned requirements the entry gross-salary for this position will be EUR 80,500– per year, split up in 14 pays for full-time. We’re willing to overpay, dependent on your professional work experience and qualification.
The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland .
