Category Manager

For the Italian Sales & Marketing department within our Consumer Goods Organization, we are looking for a Category Manager to join the Customer Marketing Department in our Legnano Offices.

Please note this announcement is for a Temporary Contract of 12 months, due to a replacement for a maternity leave.

What You Will Do

• Deliver range review recommendations to assigned customers.
• Develop shelf approach recommendations based on data and insights and build planograms for our partner clients.
• Support Sales proactively in defining customer strategies and advising them on what to do for the categories managed.
• Develop support material for innovation and key activities (folders, teasers, displays, pop material, in-store communication…)
• Prepare and present Business Reviews, Action Plans and Projects with high visibility at all levels of the company (Top management, Marketing, Sales)
• Cascade monthly reports (tracking market, brands, retailer performances, causes and effects) to the Business Unit
• Assist the team in the Business Planning Cycle

Who You Are

• You have a degree education In Marketing or equivalent.
• You have a previous experience in a similar role in a Complex FMCG Company
• You are familiar with Nielsen tools and database (or IRI), Excel and Power Point
• You have strong data analysis skills and the ability to summarize effectively.
• You are fluent in English and Italian both.
