Together, we secure a professional and efficient source-to-pay process across the full Lundbeck value chain. Leveraging our integrated Category Management processes, we deliver value through a structured approach to strategy & planning, project execution, and stakeholder & supplier management. We ensure spend transparency, compliance, and effective support through procurement systems and effective cross-functional collaboration. Our culture emphasizes ongoing development, where we learn from each other and external best practices.What you bring to the teamAs the Category Manager for Professional Services, you will:
- Proactively take ownership of the category strategies in collaboration with your team and line of business.
- Develop and implement category strategies that address the complexities of the Professional Services landscape and stakeholder needs.
- Drive complex sourcing projects across global business units, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and deliverables.
- Influence and navigate a diverse organizational landscape, leveraging your expertise to drive strategic decisions.
- Oversee lifecycle management of contracts and strategic vendor relationships, ensuring compliance and continued value generation.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance, identifying opportunities for innovation and cost optimization.
How your colleagues would describe youWe seek the following qualifications in our future Category Manager:
- A Master’s Degree from a recognized University or Business School relevant to the position.
- 7+ years of experience with indirect procurement categories, preferably within Professional Services, demonstrating progression in responsibility.
- Extensive experience in project management with a minimum of 5 years’ experience managing complex projects in relevant roles.
- Strong business partnering skills, with an ability to influence stakeholders and navigate cultural differences effectively.
- Advanced analytical skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, demonstrating high energy and commitment to deliverables.
- Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing.
