To unlock Falck’s full potential and execute our Care for More ’27 strategy, we are investing significantly in transforming Global Procurement into a strategic business partner taking full ownership of our global spend of +3 billion DKK across +13.000 suppliers. With this investment, we will ensure that we fully leverage our supply chain globally by driving impact through execution of sourcing strategies, implementation of sustainable sourcing practices, and incorporating excellence into processes and systems.For our global procurement transformation, we are looking for a Category Manager, that can help lead and deliver sustainable impact on the journey towards best-in-class procurement.
About the jobAs a Category Manager for indirect spend, you will have a unique opportunity to be responsible for leveraging volumes and implementing best practices across our indirect spend categories, including facility management, utilities, consumables and more. The role is ideal for a candidate who wishes to grow themselves while also growing the role itself.Currently, the management of the indirect categories is decentralized across business units and countries, and this role presents a great development opportunity for a candidate to take Falck’s indirect procurement to the next level. This also means that initially, you will take hands-on ownership in identifying and executing optimization projects while developing the medium- and long-term sourcing strategy. This includes how to structure and organize indirect procurement going forward and build the right sourcing set-up and operating model for indirect procurement across Falck.Key priorities are:

  • Lead the execution of key strategic sourcing projects while ensuring full stakeholder alignment – either directly or indirectly through project management resources
  • Establish transparency across the indirect spend area in terms of spend, suppliers, contracts, and stakeholder landscape
  • Develop category strategies to ensure full alignment with the business and transparency of priorities and key projects
  • Build and maintain tactical and strategic key supplier relations in close collaboration with the business
  • Ensure a strong focus on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) related matters and drive sustainability throughout our indirect supply chain

The position is newly established and is a great opportunity to be a key part of a global procurement transformation and a strategic priority in Falck. You will have significant impact on the transformation and work with stakeholders across the organization.About you

  • A completed Master’s degree e.g., supply chain, project management, business administration, economics etc.
  • 5 years’ experience working with procurement and/or supply chain in international organizations or consultancy
  • Experience within indirect sourcing, facility management and project management
  • “Can do”-attitude with an execution mindset and profound analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A strong communicator with the ability to create buy-in and indirectly lead cross-functional teams
  • Highly motivated by and capable of running multiple projects simultaneously

You have professional proficiency in English. Danish is useful, but not required.About us
