As a Senior Category Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring supply robustness and supporting capacity expansion for our pre-filled device platforms across various therapeutic areas. You will focus on implementing category strategies and securing strong commercial agreements with external partners to enable growth and innovation.Your main responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing category strategies, identifying relevant sourcing opportunities to secure robust supply both short- and long-term
  • Analysing market trends, suppliers, spend data, owning the sourcing strategy for how to support innovation and long-term decision-making
  • Providing clear recommendations, building business cases, and presenting to top management at all levels and across the entire organization
  • Collaborating strategically with suppliers, addressing supply issues and/ or driving supply opportunities, as well as supply chain optimisation
  • Acting as a sparring partner to colleagues and stakeholders, actively supporting best practices and continuous improvement

Qualifications
To thrive in this role, we imagine you:

  • Hold a master’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, strategic management, or a related field
  • Demonstrate practical experience in strategic sourcing, strategy development, procurement or supply chain, within a complex organisation
  • Have the ability to analyse market trends and develop category strategies in a dynamic environment
  • Showcase strong communication and stakeholder management skills, effectively building solid relationships internally and externally, with suppliers
  • Are fluent in written and spoken English

GSOD is the central sourcing unit in Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply division managing outsourcing of manufacturing. We are responsible for securing that we have CMOs and suppliers in place to support Novo Nordisk’s worldwide pharmaceutical production. Through collaboration with our international supplier networks, we ensure availability of the supply needed to develop and produce products that helps millions of people around the world to live with chronical diseases.You will join Devices & Needles, a team that ensures the global supply of Devices and Needles across Novo Nordisk network. You will be surrounded by 12 international colleagues and can expect to continue your development within the sourcing domain.Working at Novo Nordisk
