About the location:

This beautiful grade II listed building and former HQ of the Port of London Authority has 100 rooms, 41 residential apartments of which 31 units are in a FS run transient rental program, a stunning ballroom which has hosted the inaugural Reception of the United Nations, 5 meeting rooms, a stunning destination spa with 8 treatment rooms, hammam, steam, sauna and swimming and vitality pool, and a fantastic Food and Beverage offering including Mei Ume (Chinese/ Japanese cuisine) and Rotunda (all day dining, afternoon tea & bar).

Mei Ume Restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel London at Tower Bridge is currently looking for a Commis Server to join the team on a casual basis.

About Mei Ume:

Mei Ume offers traditional Chinese and Japanese dishes with a modern approach. Showcasing two of the greatest Asian cuisines under one roof, the restaurant menu includes a colourful selection of sushi, sashimi and dim sum, as well as Chinese main course dishes. The Culinary team constantly develop and evolve their unique dishes in the restaurant’s innovative environment.

About the role of Commis Server in Mei Ume:

• Communicate effectively with the Kitchen through regular contact before, during and after service.
• Ensure a clean, stocked station for the smooth running of assigned station.
• Prepare appropriate mise-en-place for the Restaurant.
• Ensure the food pick-up and service is impeccable and completed in a timely manner.
• Serve bar snacks according to correct service procedures.

What you bring:

• Experience working in a restaurant, ideally fine-dining
• Previous experience working in a restaurant, ideally in a fine-dining or luxury environment
• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards under pressure
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, professional attitude
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks during service
• Knowledge of Asian cuisine and culture is an advantage, but not essential
• Immaculate personal presentation
