Our GBS is expanding, and with it, our Invoice to Cash operations is evolving. We are transitioning the cash application process to internal structures. Join us and be a pivotal part of this transformation, utilizing your experience to shape and implement new internal processes.About the Role:As a Cash Application Specialist at AkzoNobel, you will support our financial operations by ensuring accurate and efficient cash application processes and resolving banking discrepancies. This role gives you independence within our guidelines and significant support from senior experts, presenting a unique opportunity to learn and grow in the cash application field.Key Responsibilities:Cash Management: Execute daily cash applications based on bank statements and ensure compliance with our SLAs.Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with the Collections team to address and resolve issues related to unapplied and unidentified cash. Prepare and deliver timely reports to internal stakeholders.Process Improvement: Actively ensure that the cash application process runs smoothly, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with global process champions to identify areas for process enhancement and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
