Care Home Team Leader – Days

Salary: A£14.67 per hour plus incentives

Hours: Full-time, 7am-7pm, 3-4 shifts per week, including alternate weekends and an on-call weekend rota

About the Role:

As a Team Leader, you will:

– Promote resident independence and support their physical and emotional wellbeing
– Lead a team to deliver high standards of care and respect, fostering dignity and choice for residents
– Support carers in assisting with daily activities, personal care, and meal assistance
– Administer medication safely and accurately
– Maintain care plans and keep records updated
– Ensure residents’ dignity and independence are always prioritized

Qualifications and Skills Needed:

– Essential: Relevant professional qualification (e.g., Registered Nurse or NVQ Level 3) and at least one year of experience in a care home environment
– Preferred: Two years’ experience in a similar role and an NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care

– Skills: Strong leadership, excellent communication, caring nature, and good time management skills

– Additional Requirements: Must live within 20 minutes of the home and have a valid driver’s license
