We are seeking a highly skilled Capital Programme PMO Officer to join our team and drive forward our ambitious capital programme. You will lead a robust Project and Programme Management Office (PMO) function, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our capital projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from inception to completion.
• Providing strategic leadership and support to project teams.
• Developing and implementing effective project management methodologies and tools.
• Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Producing regular performance reports and identifying potential risks and issues.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve programme objectives.

About You:
This is an exceptional opportunity to make a significant impact on our borough and deliver tangible benefits for our residents.
You’ll already have significant experience working in project and programme management offices, with a proven track record in delivering improvement in complex capital programmes. You’ll have an understanding of project management methodologies, risk management, and financial control, with the professional qualifications to match.
You will know how to develop and implement effective PMO solutions, produce comprehensive reports, and provide strategic leadership. With an in-depth knowledge of project lifecycle management and governance frameworks, you’ll be adept at managing stakeholder relationships and driving project delivery.
Strong leadership and communication skills are essential in this role, and you’ll be self-motivated and confident enough to work independently whilst being a part of a high-performing team.
