This role is ideal for a lawyer with 0-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) who is passionate about capital markets transactions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex deals under the guidance of experienced partners.Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of capital markets transactions, including debt and equity offerings, initial public offerings (IPOs), and securities regulation.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents such as prospectuses, offering memoranda, and underwriting agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex capital markets issues, including securities laws and regulations.
  • Liaise with clients, investment banks, and regulatory authorities to facilitate transaction execution and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Assist in due diligence processes and review legal documentation to identify potential risks and issues.
  • Stay updated on developments in capital markets law and market trends, and provide insights and recommendations to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified lawyer admitted to practice law in France.
  • 0-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in capital markets law, gained at a reputable law firm or financial institution.
  • Strong academic background, with a law degree from a reputable institution.
  • Excellent knowledge of French securities laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, both independently and as part of a team.
