Our client, a company active in a manufacturing sector based in Brussels is urgently looking for a Freelance CAPEX Project Manager for a period of 4 months.We are looking for an experienced Freelance CAPEX Project Manager with a strong background in procurement and supplier management. This role will involve coordinating infrastructure projects, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the efficient procurement of equipment and services in line with project timelines and budgets..The Freelance CAPEX Project Manager key responsibilities will include:

• Lead procurement activities for CAPEX projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify, negotiate, and contract with suppliers to meet project specifications and deadlines.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, facilitating regular communication to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, finance, and operations teams, to ensure alignment on procurement needs and project requirements.
• Manage risk in supplier interactions, anticipating and mitigating potential delays or cost escalations.
• Oversee and report on project budgets, expenditures, and supplier performance, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality standards.

The key qualifications required for the role of the Freelance CAPEX Project Manager :

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project management with a focus on procurement and supplier management in a manufacturing environment
• Skills: Proven negotiation and contract management skills, strong financial acumen, and proficiency in procurement
• Attributes: Excellent communication skills, analytical mindset, and a proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to manage multiple supplier relationships effectively.
• Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken).
