This area is responsible for developing a continuous improvement process on strategic issues as well as Cost Engineering and all reporting on these matters to the Project Executive Management. You will become part of a team of highly skilled and experienced colleagues with high engagement and focus on delivering good results.We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cost Data and Benchmarking Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading cost data analysis and benchmarking initiatives to support strategic decision-making and drive operational efficiency across the organization. The position involves possible travel to Kalundborg for the purpose of interacting with fellow project members.Location Virum Department Cost Engineering and Risk Management

As a Cost analyst, you’ll:
- Manage and broaden the benchmark database: Support in managing our internal benchmark database and model, and collaborate with external partners to enhance it, ensuring accurate assessment of project costs and timelines.
- Data collection and analysis: Work closely with Project Controls to collect and analyze cost data regularly, comparing estimates to actual costs.
- Project engagement and performance analysis: Engage directly with projects to gather scope data, estimates, and plans, and deliver performance analysis and insights to management.
- Facilitate project reviews and benchmarking: Facilitate project reviews with external engineering partners and support benchmarking initiatives, collaborating with Cost Engineers.
- Develop cost bridges and strategic insights: Develop cost bridges to explain cost developments and gather data to inform strategic decision-making, updating the internal cost database as needed.

- Having a solid understanding of Cost estimation and benchmarking, preferably from an international bio/pharma/construction or any other technical background
- Able to work independently and deliver results in short sprints

- Enthusiastic, outgoing and thrive in an informal environment where you can structure, follow up and complete your tasks

The miles you’ve walked
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
- Holds a relevant academic degree (e.g. Bachelor’s or similar from a technical background)
- Worked as a Project Manager in the past on mid to large sized projects
- You have minimum 3-4 years of experience from above mentioned industries
- You are fluent in English and can understand Danish
