- Academic and/or trades qualifications in mechanical discipline
- 10 years Mechanical QAQC experience in Industrial-type projects with minimum 5 years’ experience in a lead role
- Excellent communication skills and presentation is essential.
- Ability to present specification requirements to the project team(s) and demonstrate compliance is essential.
- Industrial and process project experience preferable
- Knowledge and experience of piping and HVAC systems required
- Role will comprise of coordinating QAQC walkdowns related to quality control of completed systems and commissioning tagging walks, confirm all inspection and documentation associated with Equipment; HVAC ducting systems; Plumbing & drainage systems; Coordination of preparation of test packs; witnessing of pressure testing; Weekly reporting on QAQC performance; troubleshooting; managing walkdown schedules.
- The candidate will be required to work closely with the Project Manager and construction team to ensure quality standards are achieved with minimal snags.
