Job Description Summary At Avio Aero, a GE Aviation Business Company, we’ve been reimagining the power of flight for more than 100 years. AvioAero is reinforcing the focus to excellence in aeronautical Mechanical Trasmission and Low Pressure turbine.
We are looking for a talented CAD designer to support drawing creation 2D and 3D for production support, design change, with direct collaboration with product design engineering / hardware owners, Manufacturing and Supply Chain departments.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesBuild and strengthen technical expertise in aeronautical components and modules.Support component design activities for DWG and CAD modeling stand point, proactively support activities with other Company departments (i.e., Supply Chain, Quality, Product Support) and Suppliers to achieve producibility and manufacturability targets.Issue of technical documents (i.e. models, drawings, reports) relative to the Components design.Qualifications/RequirementsTechnical Institute certificationGood knowledge of Parametric CAD software (Unigraphics NX preferable)Good knowledge of Technical Drawing and GD&T (geometric dimension and tolerancing)Basic knowledge of PLM (Product life cycle management ) , Global TeamcenterBasic knowledge of Microsoft package (Power Point , Excel)Base written and spoken EnglishWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsPassionate, curious, and enthusiastic for aeronautical environmentStrong oral and written communication skillsClear thinking, diligent approach, target orientedWillingness to directly interact with several internal and external customers
