Summary and Qualifications:

Drive continuous improvement and ongoing stability of the Workday system in order to provide a great associate experience.

This role provides tier 1 & 2 support for the Workday HCM, AppLearn ADOPT, and other Business Unit P&O Systems platforms, conducts data quality audits, performs testing, executes EIB loads, and maintains quick reference guides and knowledge base materials.

This role also performs position management tasks requiring tenant-wide security (e.g., creating new job profiles) to support P&O transaction activities in the MVH business units.

Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.

  • Coordinate with MVH People Systems and People Solutions in developing plans and executing testing scripts for assuring quality and reliability of Workday functional configurations.

  • Create/review/update quick reference guides and other knowledge base materials that are critical in supporting the front-end associate experience and/or back-office support functions via the AppLearn ADOPT digital adoption platform.

  • Document and maintain processes and procedures of daily activities.

  • Maintain technical and industry trend knowledge by participating in Workday and AppLearn Communities and other forums, including on-line discussions, brainstorms, voting, training, webinars, etc.

  • Conduct audits using quality assurance methods, techniques, and principles to ensure data integrity and quality assurance of data in the Workday system.

  • Support the Business Units on enterprise integration builder (EIB) design and extract, transfer, load (ETL) process for mass data transactions in Workday.

  • Perform tier 1 and tier 2 support for the Workday and AppLearn ADOPT platforms, solving issues with a predefined SLA in ServiceNow or other work management systems. Confer with business unit stakeholders, People Systems, People Solutions, and MVH users to identify problems within the application, replicate them, and troubleshoot for root cause – resolving the issue or escalating as needed.

  • Other job duties as assigned.

Special Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.

  • Project timelines and work volume/deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.

  • Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.

  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables.

  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 50 pounds.

  • Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate necessary equipment.

  • The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate.

  • Environment where pets are present.

Experience, Education and/or Training:

  • Applicants must reside in Europe, as this position will be supporting Business Units in Europe.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Services, Business Administration or a related discipline is required.

  • Professional certifications related to Rewards, HR, Law and/or Finance & Accounting a plus.

  • 3+ years’ of experience in HRIS or HR COE experience utilizing HCM systems and/or IT Support role for HCM systems.

  • Required experience :

  • Hands-on experience working in HCM systems, preferably Workday. Strong understanding of HCM structure, functions, processes, and data connections/integrity.

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet timelines on deliverables.

  • Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and maintain confidentiality internally and externally with HR data.

  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude, strong attention to detail, senses of urgency, and works well under pressure even in times of ambiguity.

  • Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.
