It is essential.Why this role is important to usProfessional Services are responsible for the onboarding of clients to SimCorp’s solutions and services. We operate with consultants in EMEA, APAC and North America, supported by Global Delivery Centers in Warsaw, Manila, and Mexico. To ensure optimal value to our clients, pre- and post-solutions, the value management team works on deepening the understanding of the clients, on measuring and reporting the value realized, and on curating possible solutions.As part of the evolution of the Value Management practice, we are working on solidifying the Value Realization roles and tasks. We aim to build a best-in-class Value Realization team, hence for the current position, we are looking to welcome various profiles, ranging from team leads to key team members of various seniority. The roles are all client-facing and might require travelling. The new joiners will contribute to shaping our practices and build the infrastructure needed for efficient value realization.Your Responsibilities:

  • Work constructively with clients to assess optimization opportunities in relation to the operational processes, particularly in the Back-office operations and reporting.
  • Assess the issues faced by clients and consistently provide clear insights with detailed data reporting.
  • Lead discovery sessions and iteratively map the processes in scope will be a key element for success in the role.
  • Ensure timely and efficient engagements through building a reliable knowledge library to improve the ability to correlate the data, the client pain points, and the corresponding resolution projects.
  • As part of learning our solutions, you will be required to join classical implementation projects at limited capacity in the data management service line.

What we value:

  • Preferably an academic background in Operation Research. Otherwise, a quantitative background in Financial Engineering, applied mathematics, Engineering Management, or similar.
  • A minimum of 2 years in an operational job in a financial institution in the areas of back-office, or reporting, or data and indexing.
  • Experience working as a Business Analyst internally in a financial institution, or as consultant in the financial services field, or in technical audit.
  • Solid understanding of data structures and relational databases

Additional expertise (considered as advantageous):

  • Working knowledge in modern BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or Qlik with experience in conceptualizing reports
  • Advantageous: a certification in Six Sigma or working experience with process optimization.
  • Advantageous: a team management or coordination experience.
  • Advantageous: a working experience with Microsoft Power Automate, or Power Automate Process Mining, Or Celonis
  • Advantageous: Handson experience with Matlab, Python or R
