Operations ABF stands for strong partnership with all relevant stakeholders, such as relevant stakeholders at ABF, local ABF MTs and colleagues in all countries and ABN AMRO Bank, to ensure that Operations ABF is future-proof and state-of-the-art.Local for local teams in each country – in addition to the Netherlands also in Germany, France and the UK – take care of collection- and customer service tasks, including administrative tasks, which require regular communication with customers and debtors. In addition in the Netherlands we have a (to-be) centralized team for administrative processes that do not require regular customer or debtor contact.I am looking for a strong and connecting leader for the new Operations Commercial Finance team, consisting of the (to-be) central handling of all operational tasks for NL, GE and the UK and the local handling of operational tasks which require contact with Dutch customers and debtors.This function has an international component, namely being part of the Commercial Finance chain across three countries and being the point of contact for the local (CCO) MTs of NL, GE and UK for the operational handling of all centralized tasks for our Commercial Finance customers.Your jobThe Business Lead for Commercial Finance Operations is expected to be a link in the web between IT, local and international CCO organizations, branches in the countries, relevant functions and ABN AMRO and Operations. The business lead’s assignment is to centralize and harmonize as many processes as possible that do not fall within the local for local framework. An excellent opportunity to familiarize yourself with the processes. Taking into account the strategy and priorities of ABF and ABN AMRO bank.Furthermore there will always be central projects which require involvement of Operations.Due to the many manual actions, you can also expect regular disruptions. We expect you to follow the appropriate tools and processes and ensure sustainable solutions that are firmly embedded in the team. The motto should be, don’t tell me, show me.Moreover, in this new team, a logical and efficient distribution of tasks across the central and local part of the team and the different roles must be re-examined. You are firm on the content, stand your ground when necessary, but also have an eye and ear for other people’s points of view. Investing in good relationships in the Netherlands, but also England and Germany is part of this.You are good at keeping an overview and setting priorities. Focus on the end result is key. You quickly understand processes and can ask questions about root causes in case of problems. You want to know what’s going on. You are willing to invest in knowledge of the product and the process chain. You are naturally results-oriented and can clearly separate main and secondary issues.You understand the importance of standardized and lean working in an operational environment and being able to set up products in systems in such a way that risks can be noticed and mitigated. You are able to have a good conversation about this with (commercial) colleagues to convince them of this.You have a good sense of when you can delegate and when you should step in yourself. Even when delegating, you remain in control and feel responsible for the result. You are regularly informed and will coach the delegates on the results to be achieved.You have a good sense of team dynamics and relationships between colleagues and teams. You stand for good cooperation and establishing relationships with important stakeholders. Organizational sensitivity is key.
