Robert Half is looking for a SAP B.I. Analyst (m/f/x) who will focus on development and enhancement of the SAC corporate planning and reporting system for data and business intelligence.Our client is a well-known company active in medical sector and located in Mechelen.The person in this role will focus on development and enhancement of the SAC corporate planning and reporting system, working closely with CFO and FP&A team, transforming business needs into system design, data models and stories.The scope of responsibilities for this job include:

• Perform analysis and document the business requirements, goals and challenges of the entire company and individual business areas.
• Be the business and sparring partner working closely with Finance and SAP CoE team to continuously improve SAC reporting and planning in terms of adding new data elements, building new reports, enriching data models, creating visualisations for better insights etc.
• Function as a gate-keeper related to SAC and introduce SAP best practices with regards to financial planning and reporting where possible whilst meeting business requirements.
• Support end-to-end development cycle for new requirements and change requests, preparing the system design, implementing the changes and delivering the solution to end users. (Stories, workflows, data models, … )
• Optimize the system design and user experience.
• Document changes according to the change management policy.
• Transfer to key users the knowledge necessary to be able to use the application in a correct manner.

Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP Analytics Cloud, specializing in planning capabilities, stories development, and implementation of ROFO strategies.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Planning tools implementation, financial consolidation solutions, and S/4HANA functionalities.
• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into effective system designs and apply advanced data & analytics techniques.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive insights from financial data and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Experience in documenting changes according to change management protocols and providing training and support to end users.
