Job Description:The candidate will work in the R&D Product Factory, as part of the Business Intelligence & AI team with other experts in the field and will report to the BI & Data Science Lead.The main activities required to the selected candidate aims at consolidating and widening the general knowledge and technological knowhow of RGI in the field of the Business Intelligence.Responsibilities

  • Implement reports and dashboards leveraging best in class business intelligence tool (e.g. Qlik Sense)
  • Conduct analysis on insurance business topics: interview with client, formalization of business requirements into specifications that will be used to implement the required reports and dashboards
  • Design & build management information dashboards to monitor internal processes and answer business questions about trends, opportunities, and data quality issues
  • Became responsible of specific project stream, ensuring a high level of data quality for core data sources and relevant KPIs
  • Research tools, frameworks and mechanisms for data analytics providing input to new technology opportunities that will have an impact on the company BI systems
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists in the RGI R&D Innovation Department, contributing in the development of new algorithms and models, providing application with vertical focus on the Insurance Industry

Experiences1-3 years’ experience in a Business intelligence and Analytics position.Technical competences

  • Previous experience with a business intelligence tool (Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power Bi, etc.)
  • Proficiency in database query construction and data mining (SQL, PL/SQL)
  • Experience in ETL tools (e.g. Talend, IBM DataStage, Business Objects, Alteryx, etc.) and management of databases is a strong plus
  • Knowledge with one of the following languages: Python, R, MATLAB, SAS is a plus
  • Proven capability to quickly grasp new processes and technologies.
  • Knowledge of big data architecture and data manipulation tools, based on Cloudera and HortonWorks (e.g. Apache Spark, Elasticsearch, Kafka….) is a plus
  • Professional English Knowledge
