Join us as a Business Development Support Officer and drive ambitious growth for British Red Cross health and social care services. You’ll manage contract paperwork, ensure compliance with business case processes, maintain audit trails, and update our contracts management database. You’ll also assist in desktop research and track stakeholder engagement. Are you ready to make a tangible impact? A day in the life of a Business Development Support Officer will involve:

• Providing clerical assistance for contract renewals and renegotiations.
• Updating the stakeholder map as needed, verifying and updating all relevant contract documentation.
• Supporting the BD Manager in producing regular reports on business development activities.
• Engaging in the national Business Development network, offering mutual help and sharing best practices with colleagues.

To be a successful Business Development Support Officer, you’ll need:

• Ability to capably plan and manage workload, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams) and online management systems.
• Duteous in maintaining high standards of documentation and data accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a process-driven environment.
