Business Development Manager -Trailer Parts

– Modern day approach to employee-engagement and extends into all avenues of the operation and specifically how the business regards, treats and recognises its employees. This can be seen from the long tenures across the business, and the low turnover rate of employees

Role Profile

– Prepare and demonstrate planning for your portfolio to enable a strategic and targeted sales approach
– Plan and carry out field sales visits to customers and prospective customers in accordance with portfolio plan/account management and new business targets
– Keeping the CRM system updated
– Pre-planning face-to-face visits using information from the CRM system
– Building and maintaining long-term relationships with customers including follow up after sales
– Secure enquiries from customers and prospective customers and using internal sales support to process as necessary
– Working with Internal Account Managers, following up on enquiries where necessary and negotiating to secure orders from new and existing customers. Displaying full ownership at all times for the portfolio performance.
– Promoting specific products when F2F to achieve ‘on the spot’ sales
– Monitor and report on market activity, trends and feedback suggestions for product development
– Covering West Region from Birmingham to South coast, with Bristol as a centre point for the role
