Eaton Industrial Control business has seen a re-energised approach over the past 12 months with specific focus on our MRO & Specialist Distribution channel. We have the opportunity to maximise our Industrial product & applications in these accounts by including Eaton Fulleon Devices alongside our wide basket of ICP products for a more holistic product offering. As we continue our journey, we have an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic and dedicated Industrial Control sales team, with opportunities to progress both within the team, and the wider global, $21b Eaton business.

What you’ll do:

The ideal candidate for this role should have a proven track record of successful sales experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. They should also be highly motivated, results-driven, accountable, and be able to work independently.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build a business plan for short- and long-term sales success across our MRO & Nationals business as well as highlight opportunities within our Specialist Distribution Partners

  • Integrate that plan within the ICP Team utilising existing contacts as well as networking to build a portfolio of further contacts containing decision makers, influencers, branch managers, sales staff & territory sales managers to grow the overall business.

  • Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities across the UK&I that can be developed whether in existing accounts or new opportunities.

  • Drive sales growth and ensure sales, profit and margin targets are achieved in line with overall business objectives.

  • Develop pipeline and sales resilience across target market sectors (MRO & Specialist Distribution) and manage via CRM.

  • Utilising internal tools & systems to track & report weekly progress toward individual and team sales goals.

  • Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to develop and implement sales strategies

  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers, understanding their needs and requirements and providing them with relevant product and product knowledge and addressing any questions or concerns

  • Keeping up to date on industry trends and market conditions and adapting your sales strategies accordingly

  • Plan and execute your account-based sales plan focusing on key activities to drive collaboration and partnership within your account base.

  • Be motivated by continuous improvement and strive to constantly exceed customer expectations.

  • Data driven – be able to interpret the data and make recommendations on how we should adapt, based on what we are seeing.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven Sales Performer with the ability to successfully network, negotiate and close sales.

  • Industry and product knowledge would be of benefit.

  • A team player, consultative, solution & detail orientated, confident presenter, driven, result orientated, with a digital mindset.

  • Strong organisation & time management skills
