The role can be based in our European offices in Basel or Visp, (Switzerland), Barcelona (Spain), Cologne (Germany), Kourim (Czech Republic), or remote. In this role you will be responsible for the acquisition of new customers and CDMO projects with focus on customers from the battery and related industries. The role involves overseeing all commercial activities for designated customers, achieving results aligned with agreed commercial KPIs and project milestones.Key Responsibilities:Accountability to meet agreed commercial targetsInteract efficiently with customers and build strong relationshipsPrepare commercial proposals and offersNegotiate and close contractsDrive marketing activities, and continuously analyze industry and customer landscapeDevelop and execute strategies to acquire new customers and projectsKey Requirements:MSc. In Chemistry, Pharmacy, Life Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology or related fieldsmin. 5+ years of work experienceStrong existing network in the battery industry and related industriesStrong business acumenExcellent negotiation and project management skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.Excellent communication and presentation skillsFluency in English.Willingness to travel up to 50% of the timeAbility to work effectively in a matrix organization and manage multiple internal stakeholders.Arxada has world class offering in two distinct areas:Microbial Control Solutions (MCS) focuses on threats posed by microorganisms to people and planet through five distinct business lines including Professional Hygiene, Home & Personal Care, Wood Protection, Paints & Coatings and Material Protection.Nutrition, Care & Environmental (NCE), meanwhile, provides materials used to manufacture composites for electronics, aerospace and other markets, as well as vitamins and nutritional ingredients, chemicals and performance intermediates, and raw materials for a wide range of high-performance applications.Arxada is an equal opportunity employer.
