Working with us means working with the latest technologies and groundbreaking, sustainable innovations.Join us on our journey for a better tomorrow.To accelerate the Abac Tech piston compressed air business in the Spanish and Portuguese markets, for ABAC brand, part of the Atlas Copco Group, we are hiring a Business Development Manager to drive & develop the Abac Tech business through direct & Indirect sales channels (our distributors network). He/she will be also responsible for developing other sales channels such as Engineering companies, contractors, and OEMs to name a few.The successful candidate should be able to explore new market trends, monitor closely the competition activities, provide quality feedback in terms of product development, market prices & business plans. He /She will join a highly motivated & professional team and will report to the Business Line Manager.Main tasks:Commercial prospecting and visits to distributors and customers to promote Abac Tech piston compressor and all auxiliary equipment.Quotation management, follow-up and closing included.Benchmarking actionsWith the study and knowledge of the market and the appropriate product, the person on this role should propose marketing and development plans needed to ensure a sustainable growth of the product of responsibility, supporting the marketing department with the implementation.Propose marketing campaigns and ideas for improvement.Identification of new business opportunities in terms of applications, products, or sectors.Upselling y Cross-sellingSupport and development of existing distributors in the area. Attracting new distributors and sales channels (OEM’s) in accordance with the strategy established together with the business manager.Requirements:

  • Experience in sales for more than 3 years developed in the industrial sector and, preferably, experience in equipment value-added services, installations, piping, compressed air, turnkey projects, etc.
  • Demonstrable experience in commercial management, expansion, and maintenance of the customers´ portfolio.
  • He or she should be able to define structured action plans and follow ups.
  • Commercial valuation and segmentation of customers, as well as potentials customers.
  • Person used to deal with technical and engineering customers.
  • Ability to analyze the customer´s and the market`s issues, and to look for solutions to add value to the customers´ activity.
  • Result oriented person.
  • Availability to travel. 50%

Knowledge:

  • Industrial compressed air
  • High level of English and Spanish. Portuguese will be valuable.
  • MS Office user level
  • Technical and product Knowledge.
  • Education: Degree or bachelor’s degree in engineering / electromechanical / electronic or similar professional trainings Soft skills: Customer orientation Communication and presentation skills Active listening Analytical ability Problem-solving skills Detail oriented
