Job Title: Business Development Manager (Fire Detection, Sprinklers, Suppression, Security, Voice, Monitoring and Integrated Systems)

Location: Home Counties / London

Primary Tasks:

* Identify and capitalise on project opportunities across diverse systems.
* Cultivate new client relationships while strengthening existing ones.
* Ensure the creation of precise and appealing proposals and quotations.
* Successfully meet sales targets in terms of volumes and margins.
* Maintain an active sales pipeline through consistent client interaction.
* Conduct surveys at various sites and prepare estimates for maintenance.
* Manage incoming inquiries and develop maintenance proposals effectively.
* Create and finalise contracts through professional quotations.
* Provide monthly reports with accurate forecasting details.
* Maintain data integrity by regularly updating databases.

Essential Qualifications:

* Proficiency in essential PC applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Strong proficiency in written and oral communication, as well as numerical skills.
* Display exceptional telephone etiquette.
* Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.

Key Competencies:

* Completion of FIA (or equivalent) training in fire detection and alarm systems.
* Previous experience or training in sales.
* 2-5 years of experience in customer-facing or technical roles within the fire and security industry.
* Knowledge of fire detection systems and associated technologies.
